Does SpeedLine POS Integrate With QuickBooks?
Yes, you can integrate SpeedLine POS with QuickBooks Online or QuickBooks Desktop using Autymate, and with Xero, Sage Intacct, NetSuite and 300+ other systems. Autymate builds and runs the connection around how your stores export, so each store's closed day posts with coupons, delivery charges, driver fees, tips and Marketplace orders in their own accounts. In 2015, SpeedLine staff described its own route: a day-end General Journal file for QuickBooks, set up in Store Manager.

SpeedLine POS is the pizza and delivery point of sale from SpeedLine Solutions Inc. of Abbotsford, British Columbia, in business since 1990 and sold today as SpeedLine 8 (Windows, on-premises) and SpeedLine Plus (cloud-managed, launched September 2025). SpeedLine's Partners page lists ordering, loyalty, labor, payroll and video partners and has no accounting category (checked October 30, 2026), so a store's numbers reach the books through SpeedLine's day-end file, SpeedLink at head office, or a managed integration such as Autymate.
A pizza day carries a lot for its size: coupons, delivery charges, driver fees, tips owed to drivers, and Marketplace orders paid days later by someone else. Autymate assembles that day for every store, so no one rebuilds it from reports.
Which SpeedLine Do You Run?
SpeedLine sells two point-of-sale lines today: SpeedLine 8, its Windows system (release 8.0 R414 came out October 5, 2026), and SpeedLine Plus, launched in September 2025. Chains on SpeedLine 8 can add SpeedLink Enterprise at head office; ask SpeedLine whether it covers SpeedLine Plus stores. Which one your stores run decides where the day's numbers are picked up.
| System | What it is | SpeedLine's own route to the books | How Autymate connects |
|---|---|---|---|
| SpeedLine 8 | The Windows POS on each store's stations, with Store Manager for the back office | A day-end General Journal file for QuickBooks, set up in Store Manager (SpeedLine staff, 2015) | Each store's day-end export; no head-office system needed |
| SpeedLine 8 with SpeedLink Enterprise | Head office collects every store's Day File in a SQL Server database | A File API for head-office systems, for your team or a consultant to build on | The Day Files SpeedLink already holds, with access arranged with you and SpeedLine |
| SpeedLine Plus | Menus and settings managed in the cloud, with the POS still running in the store | Cloud Reporting & Analytics exports to Excel, CSV or PDF; ask SpeedLine Support about accounting files | Analytics exports, or a feed if SpeedLine sets one up for your stores, as it has for 7shifts |
Not sure which you run? Ask whoever manages the menus: on SpeedLine Plus they are built in SpeedLine's cloud admin site, and on SpeedLine 8 they are set up in Store Manager.
What SpeedLine Data Moves, and Where It Lands
SpeedLine records a pizza store's day by order source, with coupons, delivery charges, driver fees, tips, tax and gift cards around it. Each piece has its own home in the books, and the Marketplace share arrives as money from someone else, days later.

| Phone and counter orders | Sales by order source and store | Phone and walk-in trade blur into online, so no one sees which channel grew |
| SpeedDine online orders | Online sales, apart from phone orders | The online ordering you subscribe to shows no return of its own |
| Marketplace orders | Marketplace sales at the marketplace price, owed by the marketplace until it pays | The day's cash looks short by money that was never coming in the deposit |
| Coupons | Discounts against the sales they reduce | Promotions hide inside a lower sales figure, so no one can price the next one |
| Delivery | ||
| Delivery charges | Delivery charge income | Charges read as food sales, so delivery seems to pay for itself |
| Driver fees and mileage | Driver fee expense, whether paid from the drawer or through payroll | Cash leaves with every driver and never shows up as a cost |
| Held for someone else | ||
| Card tips | Tips payable until payroll or the driver's cash-out clears them | Tips read as sales, and paying them out reads as extra labor cost |
| Sales tax | Sales tax payable, only for the tax the store remits itself | Tax a marketplace already remitted gets reported a second time |
| Gift cards | Gift card liability until a guest redeems one | A card sold in December counts as December sales |
| How the money arrived | ||
| Card and cash deposits | A holding account, cleared when the bank deposit lands | Deposits never match a day, so the bank reconciliation stalls |
| Marketplace payouts | Matched to the orders they cover, with commission as an expense | Payouts land as unexplained deposits, and commission is never seen |
One Store's Saturday, Posted Properly
Here is one Saturday at a SpeedLine store that takes phone, SpeedDine and Marketplace orders. Sales after coupons, Marketplace included, were $5,538.00, plus $388.00 in delivery charges. The store's own guests paid $5,786.24 with tax, tips and gift cards, and after driver fees left the drawer the bank received $5,600.24.

- $928.80
Posted like the store's own sales, Saturday's Marketplace orders put $928.80 into an expected deposit the bank will never receive. The $860.00 is owed by the marketplaces and arrives days later in their payouts, less commission, and the $68.80 is tax the marketplaces collect and remit themselves, which SpeedLine's Marketplace reports show. The drawer gets blamed for a shortage it does not have, and the tax return overstates what the store owes.
Sample figures for one store's own and Marketplace orders. Tax is 8% on $4,678.00 of the store's own food sales after coupons; delivery charges are untaxed here, which varies by state. Card fees are left out: whether they come out of each deposit or a monthly bill depends on your processor.
Where SpeedLine Data Can Go
A SpeedLine day holds the same facts wherever it goes; each accounting system wants them in its own shape, and stores in one group can post to different systems.
- QuickBooks Online
- One journal entry or sales receipt per store and business day, with the store as a location or class and Marketplace payouts matched to their orders. QuickBooks Online integrations
- QuickBooks Desktop
- The same mapping posted into Desktop company files, for groups that keep one company per franchise entity. QuickBooks Desktop integrations
- Xero
- Each store as a tracking category, with deposits ready to match against the bank feed. Accounting integrations
- Sage Intacct
- Location and entity dimensions on every line, for groups that own stores through several companies. ERP integrations
- NetSuite
- Stores routed to subsidiary, location and class, for larger estates and brand-owned stores. ERP integrations
- Payroll and reporting
- Driver fees, tips and time-clock hours toward payroll, and every store's day to a warehouse or BI tool. Payroll integrations
How SpeedLine Connects
As of October 2026, SpeedLine shares data with partners through its partner program rather than public developer documentation, so the connection starts from the files SpeedLine already produces, and from partner access where SpeedLine grants it. The careful part is joining those with money that arrives somewhere else: Marketplace payouts and card deposits.

For your IT or accounting team: the technical detail
- SpeedLine Plus
- Since September 2025 menus and settings live in the cloud, and SpeedLine set up 7shifts' feed itself: 7shifts' guide says its integration works only with SpeedLine Plus, is activated by SpeedLine, and may carry a setup fee. Where SpeedLine provides a feed for your stores, the day is read from it; where it does not, from Analytics exports.
- The workday
- Each store's day is posted by its SpeedLine workday, not the calendar date; the FAQ below covers orders after midnight.
- Marketplace prices and tax
- SpeedLine lets you add a percent increase per marketplace, and its Marketplace reports separate tax the marketplace remitted from tax you remit. Marketplace orders post at the price SpeedLine recorded, and only your share of the tax reaches sales tax payable.
- Re-sent Day Files
- Since June 2026, SpeedLine has asked stores that want longer history in four Analytics reports to re-transmit older Day Files. A re-sent day is checked against what already posted, so nothing posts twice.
- Your processor
- SpeedLine lets each store use the processor of its choice, so card deposits are matched from that processor's settlement reports, store by store.
SpeedLine's Day-End QuickBooks File, or Autymate?
SpeedLine's documented route to the books is a day-end file, and for a single store it can be the simpler choice. Here is what SpeedLine documents, and where groups need more.
SpeedLine's day-end file
One store, one QuickBooks company
Build on SpeedLink yourself
A head office with developers or a consultant
Autymate managed integration
Groups that want every store posted and checked without building it
What SpeedLine documents
- A General Journal file for QuickBooks, exported at day end from Store Manager (SpeedLine staff, 2015)
- G/L account mapping set up with SpeedLine Support's help
- SpeedLink Enterprise collecting each store's Day File at head office, with a File API for your own systems
- Cloud Reporting & Analytics exports to Excel, CSV or PDF
Where groups need more
- Several stores or companies posting on one mapping
- Books in Xero, Sage Intacct or NetSuite
- DoorDash, Uber Eats and Grubhub payouts tied back to their orders
- Card deposits matched to each store's business day
- Stores on SpeedLine Plus (ask SpeedLine Support whether the day-end file is offered there)
| Your situation | SpeedLine's day-end file | Build on SpeedLink yourself | |
|---|---|---|---|
| Who builds and maintains it | SpeedLine Support helps with the mapping | Your team or your consultant | Autymate |
| Destinations | QuickBooks (edition not stated publicly) | Whatever you build for | QuickBooks Online and Desktop, Xero, Sage Intacct, NetSuite |
| Marketplace payouts | Not described in SpeedLine's public material | Whatever you build | Matched to the orders they cover |
| A store that sends nothing | Not described in SpeedLine's public material | Whatever you build | Flagged, and its day posts once the data arrives |
| Who handles an exception | Your team | Your team | Autymate, with held items left to your team's decision |
If one store posts to one QuickBooks company and Support's mapping covers your accounts, keep SpeedLine's file; it is the simpler setup. SpeedLine's own case study of Happy Joe's, a project begun in late 2010, shows the build route: a consultant used the SpeedLink File SDK to carry store data into Microsoft Dynamics GP.
Groups that want every store posted and checked without building it? That is the setup Autymate builds and runs.
Talk to us about yoursRunning SpeedLine in Many Stores
One store's question is whether Saturday is right. A group's question is whether every store's Saturday arrived, landed in the right company and used the same accounts. Pizza groups grow by building and buying stores, so adding the next store should not mean starting over.
Start From SpeedLink If You Have It.
If head office already runs SpeedLink Enterprise, the connection can start from what SpeedLink has collected instead of at each store. One Mapping, Approved Once.
Your accountant signs off one mapping for the group: order sources, coupons, delivery charges, driver fees and Marketplace orders. Each new store starts on it, and a store can adjust its own lines where it differs.Keep Store Settings Per Store.
Tax rates, delivery charge rules, driver fee rates, Marketplace markups and bank accounts stay with each store, because they differ from store to store. If You Add or Move Stores to SpeedLine Plus.
Stores on SpeedLine 8 and SpeedLine Plus post through the same mapping, so the accounts do not change when a store's POS does.Notice the Store That Went Quiet.
A store that sends nothing raises no alarm on its own. Autymate compares each store's trading days with what arrived, flags the gap, and posts the day once its data comes in.
Each store posts to its own company, or to a location or class in a shared one, and groups with a second POS brand report on the same standard. See restaurant integrations and franchise and multi-location integrations.
How Setup Works
Most of the effort is agreeing where SpeedLine's numbers belong. After that, the days post on their own.
Connect
We agree with you and SpeedLine which route fits your stores, whether day-end files, SpeedLink at head office or Analytics exports, then connect your accounting system.
Map
A working session with whoever keeps your books decides where order sources, coupons, delivery charges, driver fees, tips, tax, gift cards, Marketplace orders and deposits go.
Validate
One real closed day from one store is posted and checked in your books against SpeedLine's own Day Reports, down to the deposit.
Automate
Every store's day posts on your schedule, and Marketplace payouts are matched as they arrive.
Monitor
Quiet stores, payouts that do not match, records your accounting system refuses and expired access come to Autymate's team.
Decide this before anything is built
A summary per store or every ticket, whether tips clear through payroll or the driver's cash-out, and which bank account each store's processor pays into. Each one shapes every entry, and changing it later means re-posting history.
What we need from you
- Your SpeedLine contact, and whether head office runs SpeedLink Enterprise
- Access to your accounting system and your Marketplace merchant portals
- Your coupon, delivery charge and driver fee rules
- Someone to review the first week's postings
What a SpeedLine Integration Looks Like in Autymate
Every store's closed day becomes one run. You see what posted and what waits.
Autymate turns each store's closed SpeedLine day into one run. Your team sees every store in one list: what posted, what is held and why, and any store that sent nothing, which is flagged and posts once its data arrives. Held items wait for your decision while the rest of the day posts. Every run keeps its mapping version and a log of each step, and Autymate's team monitors the runs.

SpeedLine Integration FAQs
Yes, you can integrate SpeedLine POS with QuickBooks Online or QuickBooks Desktop using Autymate. Each store's closed day posts with phone, SpeedDine and Marketplace sales on their own lines, coupons against them, delivery charges as income, driver fees as a cost, tips and tax as liabilities, and the deposit matched. Autymate builds and runs it, and Xero, Sage Intacct and NetSuite work the same way.
Once per business day is the usual rhythm for the books. SpeedLine staff have described its own QuickBooks file as a day-end export, and Autymate posts each store's closed day on the schedule you choose, flags a store that sent nothing, and posts its day once the data arrives.
Yes. Stores can move one at a time, and a store still on SpeedLine's day-end file keeps posting that way until its turn. Autymate starts each store on the first business day after the last one already in the books, whether the file or your bookkeeper posted it, and checks every new day against what has posted, so no day lands twice.
SpeedLine's Partners page lists Restaurant365 under Enterprise Reporting, connected using SpeedLink (checked October 30, 2026). Restaurant365's own POS Integrations List, updated September 3, 2026, does not name SpeedLine. Ask both vendors which stores and data the connection covers today. If your books stay in QuickBooks, Xero, Sage Intacct or NetSuite, Autymate posts each SpeedLine store's day there instead.
The business day they were rung on. SpeedLine's workday can run past midnight, and 7shifts' setup guide pairs it at 5:00 AM to 5:00 AM, so a 12:40 AM delivery belongs to the evening before. Autymate posts by each store's SpeedLine workday, which keeps a late Saturday on Saturday, next to the deposit it belongs with.
Because the payout is net and the orders are not. SpeedLine records each DoorDash, Uber Eats, Grubhub or ezCater order at its marketplace price, including any markup you set per marketplace, and its reports show tax the marketplace remitted. The payout arrives days later with commission and adjustments taken out. Autymate posts the orders as owed by the marketplace, then matches each payout and books the commission as an expense.
Usually by running reports. A bookkeeper for a two-location SpeedLine client wrote on Reddit in March 2025 that one day's numbers meant several Analytics reports per location. With Autymate, each store's closed day arrives in the books already split into sales, discounts, delivery, liabilities and deposits, and the bookkeeper reviews the few held items, each with its reason, instead of assembling reports.
It depends on how many stores and companies you run, which SpeedLine you are on, and where your books live. Ask SpeedLine whether any fee applies on its side; 7shifts' guide (updated August 12, 2026) notes a setup fee may be required for its SpeedLine integration. Weigh both against the manual close: re-keying sales took one 15-store Jimmy John's franchisee 40 hours a week. Scoping starts from one closed day.
Autymate holds a SOC 2 Type II report. Access to SpeedLine data is arranged with you and SpeedLine, and every run is logged, with each posted entry carrying a reference back to its SpeedLine day, so you can see what moved and where it came from.
