Does HungerRush integrate with QuickBooks?
Yes, you can integrate HungerRush with QuickBooks Online or QuickBooks Desktop using Autymate. Each store's business day posts to its company's books: carryout, delivery and marketplace sales on separate lines, coupons against the sales they reduce, delivery fees as income, driver reimbursements and card tips paid out in cash in their own accounts, sales tax and gift cards as liabilities, and the deposit matched to the bank. The same connection reaches Sage Intacct, NetSuite, Xero and 300+ other systems.

- and 300+ more systems
HungerRush is a Houston-based cloud POS built around pizza and delivery: online ordering, driver dispatch, loyalty and marketplace orders in one system. Many operators still know it by its earlier name, Revention. HungerRush has been in business since 2003, has been majority-owned by the private equity firm Corsair since 2022, and lists pizza brands from 10 to more than 200 locations among its customers.
Pizza and delivery books are harder than they look. Drivers take cash out of the drawer for mileage and card tips every night, delivery fees are not tips, and marketplace orders pay out days later with commission already taken. HungerRush's own accounting partner is Restaurant365. If your books are in QuickBooks, Sage Intacct or NetSuite, Autymate is how the day gets there.
What HungerRush Data Moves, and Where It Lands
A HungerRush business day carries sales by order type, coupons, delivery fees, driver payouts, tips, tax, gift cards and marketplace orders. Each of those belongs somewhere different in the books. Get the routing right once and every store posts the same way.
| In HungerRush | Where it belongs | What it costs you when it is wrong |
|---|---|---|
| Carryout, dine-in and delivery sales | Sales by order type and store | No way to see what delivery actually earns |
| Online ordering | Sales by channel, apart from phone and counter orders | Your own website's results disappear into the total |
| Coupons and discounts | Shown as a discount against the sales they reduce | Coupon-heavy weeks look like slow weeks |
| Delivery fees charged | Delivery fee income | Fees mixed into food sales or mistaken for tips |
| Driver reimbursements | Driver reimbursement expense, paid from the drawer | Cash that leaves every night with no expense behind it |
| Card tips paid out in cash | Tips payable, cleared when drivers are paid | Tips counted as revenue, then the cash looks short |
| Sales tax | Sales tax payable, on your own orders | Tax you owe the state counted as revenue |
| Marketplace orders | Marketplace sales, with commission as an expense | Delivery apps look more profitable than they are |
| Gift cards | Gift card liability until redeemed | Revenue booked before the guest eats |
| Card payments and fees | A holding account until the deposit lands, with fees as an expense | Bank and sales never match, so the month will not close |
One Store's Friday, Posted Properly
Here is one Friday at one HungerRush store, its own orders only. Net sales, including delivery fees, were $6,926.00. Guests paid $7,910.98 in cash and by card, tips included. After drivers were paid out of the drawer, the bank received $6,981.62.

Booked as one deposit, Friday reads only $55.62 above net sales, and that small gap hides two big errors. $984.98 of tax, unspent gift cards and drivers' tips are counted as revenue, while $929.36 of tips paid out, driver reimbursements and card fees vanish from your costs. The total looks fine, so nobody checks, and delivery's real cost never reaches the P&L.
Illustrative figures for one store's own orders. Tax is 7% on $6,314.00 of food sales after coupons; delivery fees are treated as untaxed here, which varies by state. Marketplace orders are settled separately, below.
Your Drivers or the Marketplaces
HungerRush runs your own drivers and takes DoorDash, Uber Eats and Grubhub orders in the same system. The two kinds of delivery make money very differently, and the books only show it if each posts on its own lines.
| Line | Own drivers | Marketplaces |
|---|---|---|
| Food sales | $3,960.00 | $1,180.00 |
| Delivery fees you keep | $612.00 | $0.00 |
| Driver reimbursements or commission | −$306.00 | −$295.00 |
| Left before driver wages and food cost | $4,266.00 | $885.00 |
Before driver wages, your own delivery brought in $4,266.00 on $3,960.00 of food, while the marketplaces kept 25% and paid $885.00 on $1,180.00. Each marketplace payout is matched to the orders it covers, and in many states the marketplace collects and remits sales tax on its orders, so those orders are not taxed again in your books. Orders sent to DoorDash Drive or Uber Direct for delivery post their delivery fees as an expense against your own sale.
Where HungerRush Data Can Go
Collect each store once, then shape the data for whichever system needs it. Adding a destination later is cheap. Changing how much detail you post is not, so that is the decision to make first.
- QuickBooks Online
- A daily sales receipt or journal entry per store, with each store as a class or location and marketplace payouts matched. QuickBooks Online integrations

How HungerRush Connects
HungerRush is a cloud POS, so store data can be read without touching the registers. What takes care is joining it with the money that arrives elsewhere: marketplace payouts, processor deposits and the cash drivers take home.

For your IT or accounting team: the technical detail
- The HungerRush API
- HungerRush describes its API as secure, direct access to key business data for partners and brands. We arrange access with you and HungerRush, store by store or for the whole brand.
- Driver cash-outs
- Drivers settle up at the end of a shift: cash collected, less mileage and card tips owed to them. We post each store's cash-outs for the business day, so the drawer, the deposit and the driver payouts agree.
- Business day, not calendar day
- Late-night delivery runs past midnight. We post by each store's business day, so Friday's late orders land on Friday.
- Marketplace adjustments
- Refunds, error charges and promotions inside a marketplace payout post to their own lines, so a short payout is explained instead of guessed.
- Switching from re-keying
- If someone already enters HungerRush days by hand, we agree a cut-over date with you so no day posts twice.
Restaurant365 or QuickBooks: Two Routes for HungerRush
HungerRush's integrations page names Restaurant365 as its accounting partner. If you want Restaurant365 to be your accounting system, that is a sensible route. If your books are in QuickBooks, Sage Intacct or NetSuite, and you want to keep them there, the choice is between re-keying and a managed integration.

Talk to us about yoursHungerRush Across a Franchisee Group
At one store the question is whether the total is right. Across a group you also need to prove every dollar reached the right store and the right company, and that no store went quiet. Pizza franchisees grow by buying stores, so the setup has to make the next store easy.
Route each store to its company.
Stores owned by one company share a file with a class or location for each. Stores bought into a separate company post to that company's books, on the same mapping.Write the mapping once.
Your accountant approves one mapping for the group, including how delivery fees and driver payouts are treated. A new store copies it on day one.Keep what varies separate.
Tax rates, delivery fee rules, driver reimbursement rates and bank accounts stay per store, because they really do differ.Accrue royalties from net sales.
Royalty and ad fund are calculated from each store's net sales at your agreement's rates, so the franchisor's draft can be matched instead of booked blind.Watch for silence.
A store that sends nothing raises no error. We compare each store's trading days with what arrived and flag a missing day the same day.
| Store | Mon | Tue | Wed | Thu | Fri | Status |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Store A | Posted | Posted | Posted | Posted | Posted | |
| Store B | Posted | Posted | Posted | Posted | Posted | |
| Store C | Posted | Posted | Posted | Nothing arrived | Posted | Flagged the same day |
| Store D | Posted | Posted | Posted | Posted | Posted |
Groups that run HungerRush in some brands and another POS in others report as one too. Each system gets its own connection, shaped to the same standard. See restaurant integrations and franchise and multi-location integrations.
How Setup Works
Most of the work happens before anything runs on its own. Five steps, and only one of them needs real time from your team.
Connect
We arrange access to each store's HungerRush data with you and HungerRush, and connect your accounting system.
Map
One or two sessions with whoever owns your books to agree where each order type, coupons, delivery fees, driver payouts, tips, tax, gift cards, marketplace orders and deposits land.
Validate
We post one real closed day from one store and check it inside your books: sales match HungerRush, liabilities are separated, driver cash-outs agree and the deposits tie out.
Automate
Every store posts on the schedule you choose, and marketplace payouts are matched when they land.
Monitor
Missing stores, unmatched payouts, rejected records and lost access come to our team, not to a help article.
Decide this before anything is built
Daily summary or order-level detail, which company each store belongs to, and how delivery fees are treated in your state. All three decide what gets written to your books, and changing them later means reprocessing history, so they are worth an extra hour now.
What we need from you
- A contact at HungerRush, or your brand's IT team
- Access to your accounting system and marketplace merchant portals
- Your delivery fee and driver reimbursement rules
- A quick review of the first week's postings
What a HungerRush Integration Looks Like in Autymate
Every store's closed day becomes one run. You see what posted and what waits.
Autymate turns each store's closed HungerRush day into one run. Your team sees every store in one list: what posted, what is held and why, and any store that sent nothing, which is flagged and posts once its data arrives. Held items wait for your decision while the rest of the day posts. Every run keeps its mapping version and a log of each step, and Autymate's team monitors the runs.

Proof From Franchise Networks
The hard part of a HungerRush integration is not HungerRush. It is running the same daily close across many franchise locations without anyone noticing a gap. Here is a network where Autymate does exactly that today, on another system.

HungerRush Integration FAQs
Yes, you can integrate HungerRush with QuickBooks Online or QuickBooks Desktop using Autymate. Every store posts its business day with carryout, delivery and marketplace sales, coupons, delivery fees, driver payouts, tips, tax and gift cards on separate lines, and the deposit matched. Autymate builds, runs and monitors the connection, so your team has nothing to configure.
HungerRush's integrations page lists Restaurant365 under inventory and accounting, does not list QuickBooks, and asks operators to contact HungerRush about other accounting platforms. Autymate connects HungerRush to QuickBooks Online and QuickBooks Desktop, as well as Sage Intacct, NetSuite and Xero.
Yes. HungerRush is the company many operators first knew as Revention, and its own About page says the platform began in Houston under that name. Its cloud POS, sold for years as HungerRush 360, covers online ordering, delivery, loyalty and payments.
Delivery fees post to delivery fee income, not to food sales and not to tips. Driver reimbursements paid from the drawer post to driver reimbursement expense for that store and day, so the cash that leaves every night has a cost behind it.
Card tips post to tips payable when the order is paid, and clear when the driver is paid out in cash at the end of the shift. They never touch revenue, and the drawer still balances.
Marketplace orders post as marketplace sales at full value, commission posts as an expense, and each payout is matched to the orders and adjustments it covers. Where the marketplace collects and remits sales tax, those orders are not taxed again in your books.
Yes. Each store routes to its own class, location, company file or entity. When a group buys stores into a new company, those stores post to that company's books on the same mapping.
Yes. Royalty and ad fund are calculated from each store's net sales at your agreement's rates, accrued in the right period, and matched to the franchisor's draft when it lands.
No. Restaurant365 is HungerRush's accounting partner, but if your books are in QuickBooks, Sage Intacct or NetSuite, Autymate posts HungerRush data there and you keep the system your accountant already knows.
It depends on how many stores and companies you have, which accounting system you run, and how many marketplaces you sell on. Weigh it against what the manual close costs you now: for a 15-store Jimmy John's franchisee, re-keying sales into QuickBooks took 40 hours a week, and automating it saves over $31,000 a year. The fastest way to scope it is one real closed day from one store.
Autymate holds a SOC 2 Type II report. Access to HungerRush is arranged with you and HungerRush, only the fields the approved mapping needs are read, and every run is logged so you can see exactly what moved.
