Silverware POS Integration for QuickBooks and More

Autymate posts each Silverware location's business day to QuickBooks, Xero, Sage Intacct or NetSuite, with Revenue Centers, gratuity and room charges kept apart.

Does Silverware POS Integrate With QuickBooks?

Yes, you can integrate Silverware POS with QuickBooks Online, QuickBooks Desktop, Xero, Sage Intacct and NetSuite using Autymate. Silverware POS is the hotel, resort and multi-unit restaurant point of sale sold to Fullsteam in 2023. Autymate builds the connection around how your Silverware account shares its data and posts each location's business day with every Revenue Center, comp, service charge, gratuity, tax and room charge on its own line.

Connects to

Silverware publishes accounting partner pages of its own. Its QuickBooks page says Silverware "automatically exports daily POS sales, taxes, and payment totals into QuickBooks", and pages in the same form cover Sage Intacct, Sage 300, Sage 50 and Microsoft Dynamics GP (checked October 31, 2026). For a single property whose books sit in one of those systems, that export may be all it needs.

The partners that read Silverware for other work, such as Yellow Dog Software, MarginEdge, 7shifts and Avero, each use access arranged for the account: a daily export Silverware sends, an API token and cloud address per location from the Silverware rep, the API on each property's Silverware server, or a login on Silverware's reporting cloud. Which of those Autymate uses for your properties is agreed at Connect, and each property's day posts wherever its books are kept.

Silverware's Own Accounting Export and When a Group Needs More

Silverware's export and Autymate start from the same closed Silverware day. Silverware's own knowledge base puts the hard part plainly for any POS: "Connection does not guarantee correct mapping", and "Chart-of-accounts alignment is mandatory" (March 2026). What decides the choice is how many properties, companies and accounting systems that day has to reach.

When Silverware's export is enough

  • One property, with its books in QuickBooks or a Sage or Microsoft system Silverware lists
  • Daily totals of sales, taxes and payments are the detail your accountant wants
  • Someone on your team checks each day's entry against the Daily Sales Report

When Autymate fits better

  • Books in Xero or NetSuite, which Silverware's accounting pages don't list (checked October 31, 2026)
  • Properties owned by different companies, each posting to its own books
  • Each Revenue Center as its own class, location or department across every property, on one approved mapping
  • Silverware properties beside another POS, on one chart of accounts
  • Autymate's team monitoring every run, and holding for your decision any line with no account yet

Already posting with Silverware's export? A cut-over date is agreed at Connect so no day posts twice.

Silverware Lines and Where Each One Belongs

A Silverware property closes its day across several Revenue Centers at once. The rows use Silverware's own names, the account each one usually takes, and the effect on your reports when one is put somewhere else.

One Silverware Saturday, Revenue Centers to Deposit

Harbourline Hotel closed Saturday across three Revenue Centers: the Dining Room, the Lobby Bar and In-Room Dining. Food came to $4,937.00 and beverage to $3,523.00, less a $58.00 manager comp. In-Room Dining added its 20% service charge, guests left $1,086.00 in card tips, and $1,486.20 went on room charges.

$642.30 apartHarbourline's Silverware workday runs 5:00 AM to 5:00 AM, the hours 7shifts asks a Silverware account to match. Dated by the clock instead, the Lobby Bar's $642.30 after midnight carries Sunday's date while Friday night's own late checks take Saturday's, so neither calendar day matches the Daily Sales Report for the night that was served

Autymate can be set up to post each location's day by its Silverware business date, so checks closed after midnight land on the night they were served.

Until the processor funds the batch, $7,912.64 sits in card clearing and $925.48 in undeposited cash; $1,486.20 waits in guest folios receivable. Have a Daily Sales Report from one of your properties? See how your Silverware days would post.

Sample figures. Harbourline charges one 8% sales tax on food, beverage and the service charge; your rates and what they cover follow your state and city. Harbourline keeps its In-Room Dining service charge, so it posts as income and is taxed; card tips are owed to staff. Harbourline's PMS sends no folio entry of its own to the books, so its room charges post to guest folios receivable. Which charges are tips follows your property's policy and state rules, and your accountant approves the mapping. The workday follows your Silverware setting. Card processing fees are not shown; each processor takes them on its own schedule.

Where Silverware Data Can Go

A Silverware group often spans several owners, and each owner keeps its books where it chooses. One approved mapping serves every property, and each property's business day lands in the system that holds its books.

QuickBooks Online
Each property's Silverware day as a journal entry, with every Revenue Center as a class or location so the Lobby Bar and the Dining Room read apart. QuickBooks Online integrations
QuickBooks Desktop
Properties whose company files stay on Desktop take the same Silverware mapping, so an outlet's sales land on the same accounts in either edition. QuickBooks Desktop integrations

How Silverware Connects

Every route out of Silverware is arranged for your account, through your Silverware rep or a reporting user on Silverware's cloud. The one Autymate uses for your properties is chosen with you and your rep at Connect.

One closed day, step by step

Harbourline Hotel's closed Saturday moving through the six steps listed below, ending in the $8,838.12 deposit.

For your IT or accounting team: the technical detail

Hybrid by design
Silverware calls itself "a hybrid cloud-based system", with a local SQL engine at each property that keeps terminals running offline and a cloud platform above it (Silverware's FAQs and platform overview, checked October 2026).
The server API
Yellow Dog Software reads "the local SilverWare API on each SilverWare server", which needs .NET 4.6.2 on that server (September 2026), and can pull daily tax, gratuity, service charge and tender totals per Revenue Center.
Business day
7shifts asks a Silverware account to use "the same time zone and workday hours (5:00 AM to 5:00 AM)" (May 2026). Days can be set up to post by Silverware's business date rather than the calendar.
Prices that include tax
Yellow Dog notes that Silverware "includes taxes in Unit retail" at item level (September 2026), so item-level detail can be set up to post net of tax.
What an export leaves out
Avero's Silverware export carries sales only, without check transfers, item cost or $0 modifiers, and counts voided checks differently from Silverware's own reports (January 2025).
Delivery orders
ChowNow orders, which need an active Silverware Online menu, arrive as their own payment method and service type created in Silverware, so the tender map needs an account for each delivery partner.

Silverware's Export, Keying by Hand or Autymate?

Without any connector, someone keys the Daily Sales Report from Silverware's reports into the books and checks it against the month's sales by hand. Below, each option is described in its maker's own terms, followed by what a group of properties usually asks for on top.

Best fit
  1. Silverware's own export

One property on a system Silverware lists

  2. Keying the Daily Sales Report

One property with a bookkeeper who keys each day

  3. Autymate managed integration

Groups keeping QuickBooks, Xero, Sage Intacct or NetSuite, every property and outlet posted

What Silverware and its partners document

  • Silverware's own export: daily POS sales, taxes and payment totals into QuickBooks, with partner pages for Sage Intacct, Sage 300, Sage 50 and Microsoft Dynamics GP (October 2026)
  • Avero: a daily export Silverware sends, for sales analysis rather than the books (January 2025)

When a Silverware group needs more

  • Every property's day posted without anyone opening a report, and a property that sent nothing flagged
  • Properties belonging to several owners, with books spread across QuickBooks, Xero, Sage Intacct and NetSuite
  • Each Revenue Center read as its own outlet across every property
  • Each run monitored by Autymate's team, with unplaced lines held for review rather than guessed

Restaurant365, an accounting system in its own right, also reads Silverware for sales detail, labor and intraday polling (Restaurant365's documentation, checked October 31, 2026). MarginEdge brings each prior day's sales into its own back-office tools, which sit beside the books rather than replace them.

Running Silverware Across Properties and Outlets

Silverware is set up property by property, with Revenue Centers inside each one and central menus and tax rules from Admin Center. The books need every property and outlet to read the same way.

  • One Mapping for Every Silverware Property.

Your accountant signs off one mapping template for the whole group. If one property calls its bar "Lounge" and the rest say "Lobby Bar", an approved location-level adjustment points both at the same account.
  • Revenue Centers as Classes, Locations or Departments.

Each outlet can be set up with its own class, location or department, so a group compares every hotel bar and every restaurant across its properties on the same lines.
  • Properties Owned by Different Companies.

A management company often runs properties for several owners. Each property lands in its owner's company, or its own location or class in one company, so one owner's numbers never sit in another owner's books.
  • Tax Rules Set Centrally, Rates Set by Place.

Silverware's Admin Center lets a group "apply changes across all your locations or tailor them for specific sites" (October 2026). Each property's rates can be set up to post to their own payable accounts, so every return reads from its own place.
  • Silverware Beside Another POS.

A Silverware hotel and a sister restaurant group on another point of sale can be set up on one chart of accounts, with each system read separately, so food and beverage sales compare whichever till rang them up.

How Silverware Setup Works

Most of the setup is agreeing where each Revenue Center, Minor Class and payment method belongs. After that, each property's closed day posts through the route arranged for your account, and nobody re-keys a report.

  1. Connect

With your Silverware rep, we confirm which route your account can use: a daily export, an API token for each location or a reporting login. Then we connect each property's accounting system.

  2. Map

Your bookkeeper and our team place every Revenue Center, Minor Class, comp, service charge, gratuity, tax, room charge and payment method, property by property. If your PMS closes its night audit at a different hour from Silverware's workday, the two can date a late room charge differently; we settle which date the books use before anything posts.

  3. Validate

We post one closed day from a single property first, and your team checks every line against that property's Daily Sales Report.

  4. Automate

From then on, each property's day posts after Silverware closes it, at the time of day you set.

  5. Monitor

Autymate's team monitors every run. A property that traded but sent nothing is flagged. Anything the mapping can't place, such as a new payment method or Minor Class, a day that won't balance, or a property whose access has lapsed, is held for your team's decision with the reason and what to check; support is on hand to help.

Decide this before anything is built

One entry per property or one per Revenue Center; whether each gratuity is a tip or a service charge under your policy; whether room charges post to guest folios receivable, one account per property or one for the group, or to a transfer account your PMS's entry clears; and which class, location or department each outlet takes. Each of the four shapes every day that posts; switching one after go-live means the days already posted are posted again under the new choice.

What we need from you

  • Your Silverware rep's contact, to switch on access for the agreed route (Silverware may charge for it)
  • A manager at each property who can run the Daily Sales Report
  • Access to QuickBooks, Xero, Sage Intacct or NetSuite for each owner's books
  • Someone to review the first week's postings

What a Silverware POS Integration Looks Like in Autymate

Every location's closed day becomes one run. You see what posted and what waits.

Autymate turns each location's closed Silverware POS day into one run. Your team sees every location in one list: what posted, what is held and why, and any location that sent nothing, which is flagged and posts once its data arrives. Held items wait for your decision while the rest of the day posts. Every run keeps its mapping version and a log of each step, and Autymate's team monitors the runs.

Silverware POS Integration FAQs

Yes, you can integrate Silverware POS with QuickBooks Online and QuickBooks Desktop using Autymate. Silverware POS is the hotel, resort and restaurant point of sale sold to Fullsteam in 2023. Autymate builds the connection around how your Silverware account shares its data and posts each location's business day with Revenue Centers, comps, service charges, gratuity, taxes and room charges on their own lines. Xero, Sage Intacct and NetSuite work the same way.
