Al Ries and Jack Trout are the marketing strategists who invented positioning and transformed how companies compete.

Created positioning concept in 1969, now foundation of all marketing education. The 22 Immutable Laws of Marketing sold 3+ million copies globally. Consulted for Apple, Disney, IBM, and P&G. Ries founded Ries & Ries with daughter Laura. Trout established Trout & Partners, offices in 14 countries. Combined 100+ years marketing experience. Inducted into Marketing Hall of Fame.
