Every Report Your Network Runs On

Reporting is not one statement. It is a full, QuickBooks-sourced suite, organized the way you think: Financial, Marketing, and Operations. Open any report for the whole network or one location, then save the cut you use most as a View.

One Package: P&L, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow, Down to the Transaction

Three statements, one expandable structure, with locations as side-by-side columns. Every line opens down to the locations and the transactions behind it.

  • Consolidated Profit & Loss

Revenue to net income across every location in one statement. Expand any line to see how each location contributes, and which ones drag the consolidated number down.

  • Consolidated Balance Sheet

Assets, liabilities, and equity rolled up across the network, in one clean structure instead of a folder of per-location PDFs.

  • Consolidated Cash Flow

Cash generation and consumption across the whole group. It is the statement spreadsheet roll-ups most often skip, because it is the hardest to merge by hand.

Drill to the Transaction

Click any consolidated number and Autymate opens the transactions, accounts, and income streams behind it, scoped to that location and metric. A consolidated total is never a black box. That audit-grade traceability is the trust anchor.

A consolidated Profit and Loss line expanded into a drill-down popup for location 0001 Nashville, listing the underlying transactions with transaction type, account name, amount, and running balance.

How Do You Compare Locations Apples-to-Apples?

Two locations are rarely comparable on raw numbers. A five-year-old suburban unit and a six-month-old downtown one play different games. Autymate segments by real store attributes, so you compare only the locations that belong together, then group the result up by your organization hierarchy.

Like-for-like, not best-against-newest. The peer set is the point.

Can You Forecast P&L by Location?

Yes. P&L Forecasting is an interactive what-if tool. Pick a location and a period, set a target for any line as a dollar figure, a percent, or the network benchmark, and the forecasted P&L recomputes against actuals. Each row carries its own Goal, Benchmark, or Custom mode, so you model the bottom line line by line.

Save, Share, and Reuse Any Report View

A View is a saved report: a data source, time range, filters, and visualization you name once and reuse. Save a trailing-12-month consolidated P&L, a payments view, or an inventory view, then share it with your team. Every View records who created it and who edited it last, so a shared report has an owner.

Autymate's Views screen with a Financial group of saved Views: a default QuickBooks Profit and Loss View, a Stripe Payments View, and a Salesforce Inventory View, each showing its time range, filters, and the team members who created and last edited it, above collapsed Marketing and Operations groups.

Financial, payments, and CRM data, saved and shared, with the creator and editor tracked. It is the basis for true four-wall reporting, not accounting data alone.

How Do Franchises Report When Every Location Keeps Its Own Books?

Franchise reporting is harder than ordinary multi-entity accounting because every location is a separate business with its own QuickBooks file, its own bookkeeper, and often its own chart of accounts. Autymate is built for that shape. It maps each franchisee’s accounts to a network-standard structure, consolidates upward, and gives franchisors and franchisees different views of the same data.

Spreadsheets, BI, or a Franchise-Native Platform?

There are three ways to get consolidated, analyzed financials: merge exports in spreadsheets, build dashboards on a general-purpose BI platform, or use a reporting platform. Spreadsheets work at two or three locations and break past that. BI platforms assume a data team. A franchise-native platform like Autymate automates the roll-up and adds the franchisor and franchisee views, segmentation, and forecasting on top.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Consolidated financial statements combine the financials of multiple legal entities or locations into one set of reports: a single P&L, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow, as if the group were one business. Autymate builds them automatically for franchise networks and multi-unit operators, then lets you drill from any consolidated number to the transactions behind it.

Not on its own for QuickBooks Online: each QuickBooks Online subscription holds one company, and reports do not cross companies (as of 2026-06-17, per Intuit's own documentation). QuickBooks Desktop Enterprise can combine reports side by side, but combined is not consolidated. Most multi-entity owners either merge exports in spreadsheets or add a consolidation layer like Autymate on top of QuickBooks. Our full guide walks through every option.

Segment by real store attributes before you compare: years open, square footage, urban vs. suburban, state, and data quality. That way a five-year-old suburban unit is measured against its peers, not against a location that opened last quarter. You can also group by your organization hierarchy to roll results up by region or brand.

Yes. P&L Forecasting is an interactive what-if tool: pick a location and a period, set a target for any line as a dollar figure, a percent, or the network benchmark, and the forecasted P&L recomputes against actuals. Each row carries its own Goal, Benchmark, or Custom mode, so you model the bottom line line by line.

They need to be mapped, not identical. Consolidation only works when "Food Cost" at one location means the same thing at every location. Autymate standardizes each location's chart of accounts to your network-standard structure, so locations keep their own bookkeeping conventions while the consolidated statements stay apples-to-apples.

Yes. Every consolidated line expands. Click any number and Autymate opens the transactions, accounts, and income streams behind it, per location or across the network. That is the difference between a roll-up you trust and a spreadsheet total you re-audit every month.

Yes. A View saves a data source, time range, filters, and visualization under a name you can reuse and share. Views can run on QuickBooks, plus payments and CRM data, and each one records who created it and who edited it last.

Intercompany eliminations remove transactions between your own entities, like management fees or intercompany loans, so consolidated statements do not double-count.

Autymate syncs data from your connected QuickBooks companies automatically rather than waiting for emailed month-end statements, and consolidated statements update from that synced source data.

There is no fixed ceiling. Every location connects as its own source and rolls up into one standardized structure, so the same reporting holds whether you run a handful of locations or several thousand. Adding locations adds columns, not complexity. Book a demo and we will map it to your exact network.
